The position of Sussex has placed it firmly in the forefront of English
history. From the landing of the Romans at Anderida, to the Viking raiders
who preyed upon the land, to providing the foothold for William the Conqueror.
If English history is mentioned, then Sussex will find a place within that
text. The links on the left will grow as I add more sections and papers, as
and when I get the time to do so!
I Hope you all enjoy reading my history sections of Sussex as much as I
enjoyed re-searching them and I know many of you use these sections for your
coursework, dissetations, essays, etc, so I shall be adding to it on a regular
