CHURCHES of SUSSEX

St.Lawrence Church- Falmer

There has been hallowed ground here for centuries, but the present church was pulled down and re-built in the Norman style around 1850. The village has many quaint cottages with dormer windows and gabled porches, some over 200 years old.

The pond has ducks and swans and around it are the Old Grey Wethers, great Sarsen stones shaped back in time.
